| Roles and Responsibilities | As a Trainee Engineer in the Plant Maintenance Department, candidates will be trained to handle maintenance operations, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement of plant machinery and systems. The role offers hands-on exposure to engineering practices, process equipment, and maintenance systems under the guidance of senior engineers and plant heads. Assist in maintenance, repair, and inspection of plant machinery, electrical panels, conveyors, motors, pumps, and other equipment. Conduct routine inspections to detect abnormal sounds, vibrations, or faults. Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation issues. Follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime. Gain exposure to predictive maintenance techniques like vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and thermography. Maintain records of maintenance activities, machine logs, and spare parts usage. Ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE usage. Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery. Coordinate with production and operations teams for uninterrupted plant functioning. Participate in on-the-job training to enhance technical knowledge. Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce breakdowns. Prepare and submit daily/weekly maintenance reports. |
